Chris Gunby (DoE) spoke at length on the planning outlines for the development at the woodchip facility. A copy of the landcare study book and an outline of the planned development were tabled. Robert Fenn City of Albany, spoke of the Town Planning Scheme amendment for the planned development and answered question from the general meeting at length.

Bart Downe (DoE) outlined the results his study of the Marbellup Brook water usage, this is currently awaiting publication and a copy of which will be sent to the TCG. 2 maps outlining water usage were tabled at the meeting

John Jamieson addressed the meeting regarding the Lake Powell Reserve Boundaries and a list of points raised is attached. Some questions of concern were raised regarding the purpose of defining the boundries which were addressed by the meeting

Steve Janike(DoE) confirmed the availability of the Green Corps for assistance with on-ground works during 2006 subject to funding.

Other Business:

Protection Plan for the Marbellup Brook. An outline for the Development of Drinking Water Source Protection Plan - Marbellup and An outline for Marbellup Brook and Public Water Supplies Assessment outline were tabled by Chris Gunby (DoE) to be discussed at next meeting in detail.

Points of interest.

• The Opening of the Torbay Catchment Plan with be at Woodbury Boston on the 6 November.
• TGC will be given a copy of the Great Southern Planning Strategy
• Water Corporation will come to future meeting with advice of the current conditions of the Torbay Inlet.
