2. Minutes of previous AGM

3. Chairman's report :

   Phil thanked everyone involved with the catchment during the last year, which ended with the terrific win at the Riverprize.

   Phil reported on the highlights of the previous year:

   • Launch of catchment restoration plan in November 2005
   • Finalisation of Watershed Torbay project - end of 5 year project
   • SCRIPT funding
   • staff working for the group - Karen & Steve
   • Interactions with the timber community - visiting chip mill and presentations at meetings
   • On-ground works steaming ahead, with works currently exceeding SCRIPT targets
   • Community awareness activities - catchment bus trips, landholder workshops, guest speakers at meetings
   • the continuing involvement of stakeholders, especially Water Corporation, attending all meetings

   Looking forward to next year - key actions from the plan that will be happening:

   • developing an understanding of the environmental water requirements in the catchment
   • Farm gate nutrient balances
   • Developing a marketing strategy to help change behaviour of landholders so that the targets in the plan can be met.

4. Financial Report

   Was presented by Graeme Heighton. The report was accepted subject to auditors approval.

Phil stepped down and allowed Andrew to call for nominations for office bearers
