    6.2 Catchment Calendar for 2008
Karen is currently looking for photos that could be included in the calendar. We need a variety of shots - pretty scenery, local activity and people working (farming etc), sports & kids at the beach; the only limitation is that the photos must have been taken in Torbay. The photos need to be digital, high resolution (>2MB), and preferably taken in a landscape orientation. All photos used will be credited, and the photographer will get extra copies of the calendar to show off to family & friends. Check through the archives, or get out there and get snapping and please send photos to her before the end of next week (30 November).

    6.3 Twinning update
Andrew Marshall reported that the Cultural Tour is now on December 8th and a meeting will follow. Please RSVP to Karen.

    6.4 Proposed Granite Quarry
Maurice McCormick raised the issue of the proposed Granite Quarry between Meanwood and Thomas Stanley Roads. He is concerned that noise dust, erosion and traffic will increase. Community petitions are circulating. Maurice suggests that the catchment group should investigate issues such as water usage and use of explosives.

Actions: The TCG to write to the City suggesting we request an environmental impact statement from EPA and ask for a hold on any agreement until we receive feedback.

    6.5 Survey of Social Values
