MEETING

Leslie gave a slide show on the Marshall Wetland with an update on the maintenance plan for the Marshall Wetland.

  1. Welcome, attendance and apologies:

    Des Wolfe opened the meeting at 8.15pm thanking Leslie for her presentation.

    6.1 update rail trail:
    Phil and Leslie gave a short report on the progress Pip will be taking on the funding work given for the rail trail for the planning in partnership with DEC

    6.2 update and discussion on Maintenance works at Marshall Wetland:

    6.3 other business:
    Small equipment purchases
    Des mentioned that there are some small grants available for small equipment purchase for community groups which he and Leslie will investigate.
    Leslie requested some immediate purchase required for maintenance work.
    ACTION Leslie to investigate small equipment purchases and Des to look into available secondhand equipment from the City of Albany

    Elizabeth Nation requested permission for signage indicating TCG's support of the wildlife corridor established on her property.
    Moved Phil Mellon that a sign be given, seconded by John Blaney-Murphy
    ACTION Leslie to investigate costs

    Twinnings:
    Phil remarked that there has been no happenings with twinnings as yet

    The National Landcare Forum is being held this year in Brisbane October 11-14 October, applications for this are closing Friday
